2.  Graduated from Pharmacy Department of Beijing Medical
         University in 1955.

    3. Engaged in research works for 40 years in Institute of Chinese
        Materia Medica( ICMM ), China Academy of Traditional Chinese
        Medicine ( CATCM ) .

    4. Studied on many fields, Pharmacognosy, Traditional Chinese
        Medicinal Processing Technology and Medicinal Chemistry.

    5. Especially, invented three drugs of " New Medicines of First
        Category " conferred new medicine certificates by the National
        Public Health Ministry. Her research fruits were awarded "National
        Invention Prize " and " The First Prize of National Science and
        Technology Progress " etc.

    6.  Awarded " Albert Einstein World Sciences Prize " by World
          Culture Board in 1987.

    7. Dihydroartemisinin  was selected as one of the " Ten National
         Achievements of Science and Technology" in 1992.

    8. Given the titles of the first batch of "Scientist of Prominent
        Contribution " by  nation.

    9. One of "Ten Outstanding Women" by national centre organs
         in 1994.

   10. A "Supreme Honour Prize" and a " Permanent Professor " by
        CATCM and  " National Advanced Worker" in 1995.
